The BSZ joint protection unit is designed to distribute cathodic current from one rectifier to several unrelated underground structures. It also performs the function of polarized drainage, the switchboard of the electrochemical protection system.

The BDZ drainage protection unit is an equipment that is used as part of a cathodic protection station for the protection of several underground structures at once. Drainage makes it possible to exclude the mutual influence of various rectifiers on each other, isolate the passing currents within the necessary limits, and protect objects from destruction by stray currents.

The BZK protective unit is an auxiliary equipment used for correct and reliable switching of various protective installations to adjacent communications: it distributes current from one source to several independent channels, each of which is equipped with an autonomous fuse and indicator.

Diode-resistor BDR blocks are used when several objects requiring corrosion protection are located in close proximity to each other, and the installation of separate cathodic protection stations for each object is impractical.
